Today is the first day that I tackle this new lifestyle change. I want to get in shape for several reasons and the best time to start is now. It's one of those things that can be discouraging or something you say you're going to do later, but that later turns into a week, a month, next year. Pretty soon you realize you are more out of shape than before and still doing nothing about it (I have some personal experience in this area). So day one is important because that is when it all begins!
I am excited and nervous about this new part of my life and want nothing more than to succeed. I know that it is going to be hard, but so worth it in the end. For the next few months I am going to be changing up my eating habits, my work out habits and my sleeping habits (because I don't do this enough) all as a means of getting the maximum results. I want anyone to feel free to comment and be a part of this with me.
Everyone likes to know that they aren't the only one going through something alone. Statistically I know I'm not, but without hearing from other people you can get into a rut of feeling alone in the situation. So talk to me about what you're doing or feel free to give me some suggestions. What's worked for you? I'm always open to hear about other people's success stories. Another thing that I am going to do is post health and fitness stories and fads that I find that relate to what it is that I'm doing.
I get off work at 12:30 and will begin this change by hitting the gym for the first time in a while. Wish me luck :)
