OK so when I say happy birthday to me what I really mean is oh my goodness I wish I had taken my own advice from yesterday's blog post. Instead I was told "oh yeah Cassandra are you just keeping a drink in front of you?" I said ha ha ha and then drank more than I probably should have. Sad day :(
Not that I really drank that much, but when you haven't drank anything in a long time it doesn't take very much to send you over the edge and that is exactly what happened. Never ever should you go from zero to 60 in 3.5. Your body is not ready for it, nor is your brain. Not my greatest decision ever made. I also realize that my bounce back doesn't seem to be as good as it once was that is probably because I am 24 as of today and the signs of getting older are definitely there. This made me super sad!
I had a lot of fun and I'm glad that I got to see a lot of people. If you came out to celebrate with me last night, thank you very much and I love you all :)
My caloric intake from 10-2 was probably sky high, but I'm sure it will be much lower today as food just doesn't sound that great. Obviously this is another reason why drinking is a negative, not only is it a whole lot of empty calories, but also because it is a metabolism killer.
My advice for anyone who plans on having a night on the town I would like for you to refer to yesterday's post and stand firm by what you say. Do not do what I did last night for sure. The rest of today I think I'm going to play it pretty chill. It is now almost 3:30 and I'm feeling much better than I did at 8:30 this morning when I woke up so it looks like things may in fact be looking up...lol.
I hope everyone has an amazing Tuesday and feel free to enjoy my day of birth ;)
